Dunstablians 32 Northampton Old Scouts 3

Dunstablians moved back into second place in Midlands Two East South with a 32-3 victory over Northampton Old Scouts on Saturday.

Duncan Holmes and Simon George went over in the first half as Jon White added one conversion and a penalty as Dees led 15-0.

Gavin Denning ghosted through for a scintillating try, while Danny Mills also crossed the line, with White converting.

Old Scouts kicked a penalty with 15 minutes to go, but the final action saw Kevin Boland’s accurate grubber kick from 20 yards out enable Mills to sprint through a tired defence and touch down.

Dunstablians travel to Bedford Queens for a Beds Cup match this weekend.
