On a wet and windy afternoon, both sides didn’t help their cause with handling errors but Park’s attacking potential was greater.

They benefited from some strong running in the midfield by centres Karl Jennings and Martin Rowe, both of whom injected pace into the Park attacks as well as some solid defence.

Stockwood opened their scoring after 10 minutes when a strong forward drive gave loosehead prop Justin Harkin the touchdown.

Further tries were scored by winger Joe Flatley after an excellent break by Jennings and this was followed by a well worked team try, Jason Carr going over for a 15-0 interval lead.

The hosts continued in the same vein in the second half, mixing errors with some fine attacking rugby.

Further tries came from Flatley, for his second, a pushover effort for the forwards scored by Ben Griffin and finally a score for fly half James Hankey, who forced his way over after a strong run by Griffin.

Carr, converted two of the tries to give Park a 34-0 victory as they travel to Northampton BBOB this weekend.
