In front a large crowd of over 100 former players who attended a pre-match lunch, the hosts displayed all the good and not so good parts of their season so far.

Despite going into an early lead from a try by Dan Needham, converted from the touchline by Jason Carr, Park spent much of the rest of the first half allowing St Neots to capitalise on a range of errors and score their own converted try to level the game at 7-7.

A penalty from Carr then gave Park a slim 10-7 advantage at the break.

With the wind behind them, Stockwood took control to score three more tries and secure a bonus point.

Martin Rowe, always a threat to the visitors, was first on the second half score sheet with a well taken try, Carr converting.

Michael Powell, who with Tom Edmonds, dominated the lineout, scored after a drive from the forwards, in which Ben Griffin was prominent, Carr adding the extras.

Park’s final try was scored by Joe Flatley, who scooped up a brilliant cross field kick from Paul Harman.

Stockwood are now third and visit Rugby Lions in the second round of the RFU Senior Vase.
