Team Luton celebrate a magnificent 12 months

TEAM Luton celebrated a successful 2011 at their recent annual presentation night.

Trophies, club records and awards were recognised over all ages, from seven-year-olds to 70-year-olds.

The year started well with the Bedfordshire County Championships in March as Nadine Smith won the nine-year-old girl category and Nathan Swift took silver in the nine-year-old boys event.

Emily Drawbridge won the 10-year-old girl category and Kieran Whitehall took bronze.

In the 13-year age group, Beth Currant won silver and Ryan Compton bronze. Sean Hogan also won bronze in the 14-year-old category.

In total, Team Luton also had 29 county event champions and collected 121 medals at the championships.
