Toronto move for Cummins
All sides have their say on director of youth's departure
Director of youth Chris Cummins has agreed to link up with former Hatters head coach, John Carver, at Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Toronto FC.
Cummins, who resigned from his post at Luton Town last week after less than a year in the job, hastily departed Kenilworth Road with immediate effect and did not take charge of Saturday's U18s game at Barnet, where Luton lost 2-1 in their final game of the season.
However, he admitted the chance to coach in Canada is a once in a lifetime opportunity and one he could not refuse.
He said: "I've enjoyed my time at Luton, it's a fantastic club but I've been offered another opportunity which I feel is great for myself and my family and one I feel I couldn't turn down."
