USL honour their footballing stars
Town MD is special guest for Sunday club
United Sporting Luton Football Club held their annual awards ceremony at the Indian Ocean restaurant.
And the club welcomed special guests, singer Jane Ledsom and Luton Town managing director Gary Sweet, for the evening.
USL Rams received the Luton Sunday Football League Champions Trophy from Sweet, while Peter Wilson was crowned USL's first Hall Of Fame winner.
Wilson played 180 matches scoring just under 100 goals and, as manager of USL Saturday, has taken the club to semi-finals in the Beds FA and League Cups. He was presented with his award by Ledsom.
This year's USL Community Award winner was Alan Shury who, after two decades of running The Luton Sunday Football League, is retiring.
Club sponsor Barket Mortgage And Finance said: "We have spent huge amounts of money on USL FC and this year's triumphs have given us a lot of joy.
"A sense of money spent well is highly encouraging and one that makes our work in the community worthwhile.
"Well done USL and we hope Azad and Shaks reach more success as they are true Lutonians and mad about football in the town."
Luke Potter won USL Red Star's Players' Player Of The Year Award and Charlie Betts triumphed in the USL Galacticos' version.
Simon Ridgeway was Rams' top scorer with 37 goals in as many matches, while Kabir Daved won the award as Red Star's Most Consistent Player and Junior George was Red Star's Manager's Player Of The Year.
