Vauxhall motor to indoor double
Skipper Sajid guides his side to victory
Captain Sajid Sharif guided Vauxhall Motors Cricket Club to the double again as they retained the Willow Choice Indoor Six-A-Side Cricket League and Cup titles at the choice cricket centre Flamsteadbury Farm Redbourn.
Motors won seven of their eight league matches and in the cup final they beat Hemel Hempstead U19s.
The Vauxhall team was Sharif, Sajid Dar, Asif Khan, Ahtzaz Ahmed, Zaheer Khan, Naeem Khan and newcomer Shazard Dar.
The Vauxhall Motors Indoor Cricket League and Cup competitions will be running from Sunday, January 4, with matches taking place from 2pm to 6pm at the Brache Club Gipsy Lane.
