Students from Next Generation TKD in Luton scooped armfuls of medals in the UK ITF Taekwondo British Championships.
Surrey Street pupil Alexa Ferhati, seven, did extremely well in her sparring category getting to the final, beating ten- and 11-year-olds on the way and only just losing the final on a spilt decision.
Oskar Kutyla, 14, won gold in both his sparring and patterns discipline while ten-year-old Victoria Hale and seven-year-old Patrick Partyka each came away with bronze medals in sparring.
This year has also been a special one for the Next Generation TKD Instructors, as head instructor Gav Sidhu was promoted to Black Belt 5th Degree and his sister and fellow instructor, Gurlaine Sidhu, was crowned Lightweight European Champion in Barcelona, which included defeating the current World Champion from Holland.
