Happy anniversary Hatters! It's 20 years to the day that Luton Town beat Arsenal to win the Littlewoods Cup at Wembley.

To celebrate the landmark, this website has raided its archives to compile a special three-part cup final slideshow for your enjoyment.

Featuring more than 300 photos, the majority of which have never published, today we bring you the complete slideshow - featuring the pre-match build-up, action from the game and the post-match celebrations from April 24, 1988.

Today we also bring you memories from the big day of Neil Preece, brother of Hatters midfielder David Preece (see below).

David died last year, but was, of course, a key member of the team, which upset the odds and beat George Graham's team.

What are your memories of Hatters' big day? Who was your favourite player in that team? How did you celebrate the win? Click here to send us an email or register with this website and enter a message below.

You can order the full 21-minute slideshow, priced £9.99, by contacting our reception team on 01582 700600 from April 24 onwards.

Please quote either Option A (with Barron Knights soundtrack), Option B (basic background music) or Option C (silent).

You can also order any of the photographs you see in the slideshow from today onwards. Visit the Image Shop section of this website by clicking here and enter 'Littlewoods Cup' in the search field.

NEIL PREECE'S MEMORIES

"I hired a 15 seater minibus for us in the Bridgnorth area, Grandad, mom, dad, sister and friends/supporters of David.

"We were all pleased as anything to be seeing one of ours at Wembley. We naturally set the video at home to record the game!

"We stopped off in Luton on the morn at David and Louises's house and wished David well before he travelled.

"He had been injured this season and missed alot of games and certainly hoped to start which of course he did.

"He was at his peak at this time and was so proud to be at Wembley with Luton where he spent all those years happy at the club.

"On the way to Wembley it was amazing to see the hordes of Luton supporters travelling down and when we arrived at Wembley the atmosphere was electric.

"Certainly I hoped Luton could win but we were against the mighty Arsenal and I just hoped David would do us proud which of course he always did.

"Just to see the team come out and David in the starting line up was amazing, Ray had obviously gone for his strongest 11 as David lasted about 65 minutes or so I think before fitness told. But what a few 65 minutes they were for me and the family and of course David.

"The last minutes were amazing and we know the rest.

"Following the game and the cheering in the stadium a few of us managed to see David in one of the lounges inside before the players and staff went to London for a celebration etc.

"David was so proud and never one to over do elation (except the odd occasion he notched!) but I could see he was on a high.

"The trip back up the M1 was something I will never forget, car after car and bus of Luton supporters, truly amazing memories.

"The next time I saw David he handed me Kenny Sansom's shirt from the game, which needless to say I still have."
