The cream of local talent join forces for Luton Aid 2008 this Saturday (July 26).
Returning for its fourth consecutive year, Luton Aid showcases the best live bands that the town has to offer. Firm favourites including Elements Of Refusal, Novacaine, SWANK, and Cerberus return this year and are joined by new bands Inertia Falls, Arnika and an exciting headline set from Sweet Morning Oblivion (pictured).
The all-day event is hosted by the Student Union bar in Vicarage Street and it all kicks off at 2pm and runs through until midnight, featuring 18 great live bands, DJs, barbecue food and a raffle.
Tickets are available from Coda Music in Guildford Street, Luton, until Friday evening for £5 each. Tickets are available on the door at the SU bar all day on Saturday for £7.50.
All proceeds will be donated to the Pasque Hospice in memory of Bill Candlish, who was looked after there. The event has been arranged by Mariana Brown, and everyone involved in the day has volunteered their time and talents for this great cause.
