The sun shone and the flowers looked glorious as more than 700 visitors flocked to Luton Hoo to take advantage of the five star hotel's first garden open day under the National Gardens Scheme.
General manager Richard Baker said: "It was a really successful day, helped by the perfect weather, which raised £3,500 for the charity."
"We welcomed a large number of local people as well as enthusiasts from outside the county who were interested in seeing the gardens.
"I'm pleased that Luton Hoo is in the NGS 'yellow book' and our charity open day will now become an annual event."
