Spring sees cute new arrivals at Whipsnade Zoo lining up for the cameras.
A real heavyweight addition to the animal park is a white rhino calf weighing in at 100kg.
The young male has already settled with paddock-mate Jabari and is the 55th African white rhino to be born at Whipsnade since 1970.
Ever-popular penguins welcome a new species to the pool. Gentoo penguins, averaging 75cm to 90cm, have been settling in to their home on the edge of the Downs and making friends with the rockhoppers and humboldts.
And zoo staff are really excited to be able to welcome sloth bears to the park for the first time in its history.
The long-clawed animals are said to be fun to watch and visitors can catch them ambling around their grassy paddock, strewn with climbing logs and branches.
