New hotel features techno beds to help make guests comfortable

A brand new hotel that opened at Luton's Butterfield Business Park last week is the first of its kind in the UK.

Luton's excellent national and international transport links, along with the number of high profile businesses in the area, meant it was chosen to be the site of the first Hilton Garden Inn in the country.

Hilton says its approach to furnishing the hotel rooms, which include specially-designed ergonomic chairs and technology so that the firmness of the beds can be adjusted, should ensure guests have the most comfortable stay possible.

And it won't be just weary travellers who benefit from the Hilton hospitality - the company is extending the garden theme to the Lady Zia Wernher School in Luton as part of its Gardens in Schools project.

When the new school year starts the pupils will be helped to plant new flower beds and vegetable patches with materials provided by the National Gardening Association.
