Did you take part in A Christmas Carol at Surrey Street School in Luton 70 years ago?
Are you one of the young stars pictured here?

If so, former pupil Dot Baker would like to hear from you.
The lively octogenarian was looking through old photographs when she came across these.

Amazingly, she can remember the names of almost all the girls pictured. She is particularly keen to contact Edna King, who was a special chum.
But she said if readers of The Luton News recognise any of the young players, she would be delighted to hear from them.

If you know any of the girls pictured – including Bessie Barton, Valerie Potter, Margaret Barford, Doris Horsler, Gwen Owen, Connie Bonnington, Dolly Ventris, Edna King and Mollie Goodyear – contact Dot on 01462 629270.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
