Get a groove on with shows at the Grove

From pop to blues, Motown and classical music, there's something for everyone at the Grove Theatre in Dunstable in the next few weeks.

Those who enjoy snappy choreography and a vast catalogue of hits can revel in a night of nostalgia when Bye Bye Baby visits the venue on Friday May 20 at 7.30pm.

The show focuses on the music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, celebrating some of the greatest hits such as Beggin’, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man and Let’s Hang On.

For fans of the Blues Brothers movies, there’s a new Jailbreak Tour by the Chicago Blues Brothers hitting the Grove Theatre stage on Saturday June 11 at 7.30pm.

It’s a night of the best blues, Motown, soul and comedy from both the films, including the tunes that made them: Everybody Needs Somebody, Soul Man and Shake a Tail Feather, complete with pork pie hats and sunglasses.

The production includes a nine-piece live band and also features over 40 classics from James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and many more.

And lovers of classical music can savour the voice of Russell Watson, who comes to the Grove on Friday June 17 at 7.30pm.

His new show, Songs from the Heart, continues to show how Russell is the UK’s best-selling classical crossover artist of all time.
