Let’s hear it for the boy and back Jaymi

Union J were back on form on Saturday’s X Factor, and were the first act to be put through to the next week of the show.

The boyband featuring Stopsley’s Jaymi Hensley were in the bottom two of the competition the week before, but their rendition of Love Story by Taylor Swift made them favourites once again.

X Factor judges Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos praised the boys for their “massive improvement”.

Jaymi’s hometown got a mention on the show, as the boys all spoke about their “normal backgrounds”, and Jaymi was labelled the ‘dad’ of the group.

Jaymi’s mum Jackie Hensley said: “Massive thank you to the team at the Herald & Post and Luton News for all their support for Jaymi and the boys from Union J. The support has been brilliant and hopefully more people will realise that Jaymi is from Luton and they will get on board and vote Union J this weekend.

“Homegrown talent needs to be supported and Luton should be proud.”

Union J have over 500,000 followers on Twitter; follow them @UnionJWorld and see them on ITV1 on Saturday.
