Join Luton’s up-and-coming young theatre wannabes as they take you on a journey through an eerie set, spinning a story about a lost soul.
Songs for the Strange was written by 19-year-old Charlotte Read of Farley Hill.
She said: “I’m so excited for the show. I’m so thrilled to be part of it and it’s a great opportunity for young, local talent.”
Charlotte is one of nine members of The Hat Factory’s 100% Young Producers.
Luton Culture’s community champion programmer Ellen Waghorn said: “They’re all voluntary and are interested in every aspect of theatre production from marketing and set design to directing and script writing.
“They work so hard and make all their own decisions about projects and the number of rehearsals so they can take more responsibilty and gain practical knowledge.”
She added: “If you haven’t seen any of their productions yet, come down and support some phenomenal local talent before they explode on to the professional stage!”
> The show is at The Hat Factory for one night only – Saturday, April 12. Ring the Box Office for tickets on 01582 878100.
