Entire year group sent home from Denbigh High School after pupil tests positive for Covid-19

The school was informed on Monday, September 14, that a student had tested positive and decided to send all Year students home to self-isolate.
Jess Pather, deputy headteacher at Denbigh High School, said: “We were informed of a positive case of Covid-19 with one of our Year 7 students on Monday 14th September.

Hide Ad"We made the decision to close this year group class bubble and that all Year 7 students should self-isolate as a precautionary measure as advised by Public Health England.
“Learning for these students will continue at home and we anticipate they will be able to return to school on Tuesday 29th September.
"The safety and well-being of our school family is paramount. School remains open to all other pupils and we will continue to follow public health guidance and inform parents and carers of any further updates."
