Debut win for Adams as he edges Byrne on points
DUNSTABLE boxer Mark Adams was satisfied with his professional debut as he enjoyed a points victory over Louis Byrne at York Hall on Saturday night, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 25-year-old was awarded the decision 38-37 after a hard-fought four rounds against a more experienced opponent.
He said: “I was quite pleased with how it went.
“I have watched the DVD back and know I made a few mistakes.
“It was just a case of going out a bit too quickly, not making my punches count sometimes.”
