McGeehan hopeful of permanent Hatters stay
The 20-year-old signed from Championship side Norwich City until May and speaking after his match-winner strike against Tranmere Rovers on Easter Monday, when asked if he’d like to stay, McGeehan said: “Yeah, I’d be happy. I think there is some stuff set, but I’m not sure what I can say on that for now.”
McGeehan netted the only goal of the game at Prenton Park to ensure Luton ended a run of seven straight defeats.
The Canaries youngster felt it was vital that Hatters got back to winning ways, especially after the manner of Friday’s 3-2 defeat to Exeter City.
