Luton keeper Simon Sluga has been called up by Croatia for their 2022 World Cup qualifying triple-header later this month.

The 27-year-old, who has been in superb form for the Hatters this season, with eight clean sheets from 29 appearances, was named in the squad by head coach Zlatko Dalić for a trip to Slovenia, plus home matches against Cyprus and Malta.

Sluga, who Luton boss Nathan Jones spoke highly of in his pre-Norwich press conference last week will join up with the squad on Monday, March 22, following Town's trip to Preston North End, looking to add to his three caps, the last coming in a 3-3 draw against Turkey in November.

Croatia travel to Ljubljana for their first match on Wednesday, March 24, then host Cyprus on Saturday, March 27 and Malta on Tuesday, March 30, both games to be held in Rijeka.
