Breaking: man injured in glider landing

A man was taken to hospital following a hang glider collision in Dunstable this afternoon.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) was called at 2.53pm today to land off the B489 at Dunstable to a report of a glider having a heavy landing.
An ambulance crew and ambulance officer attended the scene.
They treated a man in his 50s who had suffered cuts and bruises.
He was assessed at the scene and taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital as a precaution.
