CBBC star Mr Dexter from the 4 O’clock Club will be there to pose for pictures and sign autographs.
More than a hundred young people will be performing a range of gospel, musical theatre, hip hop and rock. With pupils from numerous local schools taking part, it’s a great chance to come and support our talented youngsters.
This year’s young stars include pupils from Downside, Sundon park, Pirton Hill, Lealands and Lea Manor, alongside Tina’s School of Dance and the award-winning Next Generation Youth Theatre.

Hide AdIn addition, a variety of short films will be shown including work from award-winning directors Ibrahim Jacobi and Robbie Gibbons.
Former Lealands pupil Robbie has built a successful career in the film industry and has recently worked not only on Dr Who but also on various Hollywood features including Doctor Strange.
Festival director Paul Vitty - who has recently directed his own debut film – said: “Jason Callendar, who plays Mr Dexter, is another famous face from the town.
“Luton has produced so many inspirational and creative people but we don’t often hear about them and that’s why we’re really glad to welcome Robbie and Jason.” He added: “Luton has so much to be proud of and on Saturday we’ll get to showcase and celebrate the next generation of performers.”
The festival will run from 11am to 5pm on Saturday (July 2) at St Like’s Church, High Street, Leagrave.
