Kettering Town poach Barton Rovers captain Hull much to Kennoy’s dismay
The Poppies, who just weeks ago avoided a winding up order in the Royal Courts of Justice, are believed to have offered the midfielder substantially more to join them.
A matter of weeks ago they were begging fans and local people for money to help settle that debt, but have moved swiftly to sign one of the Calor Sourthern League Division One Central leaders’ most important players.

Hide AdDisillusioned Rovers boss Dan Kennoy said: “The whole situation has left me a bit disillusioned with the non-league game if I’m honest.”
Rovers have moved swiftly to appoint Paul Andrews as their new club captain.
