Amidst purported interest from the likes of Championship side Millwall, Town’s hottest property penned a deal to 2015 as Buckle said: “It wasn’t on the back of a big bid because we’d tell him.
“The key was when you know you’ve got something good, and someone’s really working hard for you, I think it’s great to show gratitude and there’s no better way than with a contract extension.”
