High hopes for Hatters striker Jack
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on a one year deal at Kenilworth Road recently after leaving Ipswich to team up with a manager who has had a knack of unearthing centre-forwards throughout his career.
Still has discovered the likes of Dwight Gayle, now in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, plus Craig Mackail-Smith, along with current Hatters striker Paul Benson and even Marlon King when in charge at Barnet.

Hide AdSpeaking exclusively to the News/Gazette, Marriott said: “The manager’s record when it comes to young strikers is an unbelievable one.
“It’s another reason why I was so keen to come here, once I heard about the interest.”
There were other options available available to Marriott on departing Portman Road, but once aware of Luton’s interest, he was determined to become a Hatter.
