Rowe-Turner concedes being dropped might help him in the long run

The 23-year-old was left out of the starting line-up against Hereford United and Hyde, but was back for the trip to Wrexham on Saturday as Town held the title-chasers to a 0-0 draw.
Rowe-Turner said: “Everybody just wants to play football so to miss a few games, it might have aided me in the long run.

Hide Ad“You never really want changes in the back four but the gaffer’s made some changes, I think we all dug in and dealt with it quite well.”
Speaking of his decision to recall Rowe-Turner, manager John Still said: “He was better for having a kick up the backside and not playing a couple of games.
“Because I don’t think he would have been happy with what he did, but he can be happy with his work now.”
