KARATE: Jordan becomes Euro champion

Thomas, who trains Kaizen Karate Federation at Denbigh High School, scored first with a counter punch, but his opponent drew level at 1-1. .

Hide AdIn line with the rules in the event of a draw, throughout the match, Thomas was better tactically and committed to more attacks therefore won the bout, and the title, on a 3-2 decision.
Thomas is now the English Karate Federation’s first Senior European champion and England’s second over a 14-year span, joining his father Willie as a Senior European Champion.
