Belles take step back in time with old hits

Nostalgic songs from the 40s and 50s will be performed by a local band at the Leighton Buzzard Library Theatre next month.

The Memphis Belles come to the venue on Thursday, September 3 starting at 7.30pm.

The three ladies will take the audience on a nostalgic trip back to an era that time has never forgot, and never will if this act have anything to do with it.

With determination, dedication and drive, The Belles have managed to create the group performing those favourites from the 1940s and 50s that stir the emotions.

The Memphis Belles have been described as an inspiration to watch and listen to with authentic costumes, original dance routines and a few extra surprises thrown in.

Old and young are guaranteed a wonderful night with the Belles.

The all-female trio will be giving the audience music from the likes of The Andrews Sisters to Vera Lynn, The Maguire Sisters to Rosemary Clooney.

The ladies will also be giving their take on the king of cool, Dean Martin, 
making appearances throughout the night and promising to put on a show that is not to be missed.
