Antony said: “It’s Prince Charming and I’ve never played this part before so I’m really excited.

“I’ve returned to pantomime because I actually love it

“I really loved the production company Magic Beans and the producer Jamie was great to talk to and I was convinced that it was a good decision. I would say come down, leave your troubles outside and enjoy a great production of Cinderella.”

He is also looking forward to returning to Dunstable to perform. Antony added: “I was here in 2007 in Blood Brothers. I love the venue – it’s got great acoustics and the audiences were fab.”

He is still best known for being one part of the boyband Blue and he was surprised by the band’s initial success at the turn of the millennium.
