The Circus of Horrors has since become something of a cult with TV appearances on The X Factor, The One Show and even a Royal Command performance.

It had its gruesome beginnings at Glastonbury in 1995 and was an instant hit, subsequently touring the world from Chatham to Chile, Aberdeen to Argentina and Jersey to Japan.

There were also appearances alongside Alice Cooper, Eminem, Motley Crue, Oasis, Iron Maiden, The Manic Street Preachers and many more.

Its latest incarnation – The Night of the Zombies – is set in in 2020 in a decrepit and corpse-ridden London.

The city is swamped by a plague of Zombies, ruled by the undead and ends in an awesome flaming apocalypse.

The story twists and turns with grisly murders and sensational shocks, interwoven with some of the greatest and most bizarre circus acts on earth – including sword swallowers, knife throwers, dare devil balancing acts, a demon dwarf, astounding aerialists and the Sinister Sisters.

The thumping rock ‘n’ roll beat of Dr Haze and The Interceptors from Hell provides a spine-tingling sound track.
