Dirty Dusting, which is coming to the Grove Theatre in Dunstable on Friday, tells the story of three cleaning ladies who embark on a radical carer change.

Gladys, Elsie and Olive are about to be “put out to pasture” by their overzealous office manager Dave.

Feeling they have little chance of gaining employment elsewhere, the ladies try to think of a way of boosting their falling income.

Then one evening, a chance wrong number ringing into the office gives them a great idea – why not run a provocative chat line?

Providing they can keep it a secret from their boss, they could be onto a winner.

Described as “pure theatrical Viagra”, the show stars the award-winning Crissy Rock, known most recently for playing loudmouth hotel manageress Janey York in ITV’s highly successful comedy series Benidorm, having worked a sa comedian and actress since the late 1980s.
