Duo of acts rocking the night away at Wheatsheaf

There will be plenty of live music coming to The Wheatsheaf in Leigton Buzzard at the weekend.

On Friday night the Punk Rock era will be remembered at The Wheatie with band 77 Again.

Not only that, the boys are offering the chance to sing with them on the stage in a sort of Punkyokie – provided you know the words and expect no mercy if you don’t!

If you’re up for shouting along to the Sex Pistols, The Clash, Buzzcocks, Sham 69, SLF, Specials, Undertones, Greenday, The Jam, The Adverts, The Dammed or The Ramones with a live band backing you, this could be your night. Mohican hairstyles (or a wig) are optional.

There’s more of a Mexican standoff at the Wheatsheaf on Saturday evening with another unforgettable rockin’ show from El Bronson.

This 5 piece band are truly something different – a high energy interactive band that will get the audience up dancing along to some great covers from Led Zepplin, Van Halen, Nickleback, Metallica, Biffy Clyro The Prodigy and much, much more.

With their mysterious frontman in his mask and Luchador costume (a Mexican wrestlers outfit to us mortals) who never reveals his identity, but can really sing and the band with their costumes, lively banter and moves, you can really expect a great evening of loud and amazing music.

Music starts around 9.30pm on both nights and admission is free.
