They’ve already made a highly successful pilot of OAPs Behaving Badly for Channel 5 and are now making six more.

Assistant producer Ruth Wright said: “The initial episode had great ratings so now we’re looking for outrageous over 60s.

“We want people who are out-of-the-ordinary, chatty and confident and who are doing things you might not expect from someone of their age – getting married, looking for love, enthusiastic party animals or into adventure sports, punk music or biking.

“Perhaps they’ve got a big event coming up in their lives which we could base part of an episode around.

“We’re not looking for your typical pensioner, but fun and fabulous senior citizens who are embracing their golden years.

“They must be big characters.”

She added: “If you know someone who fits the bill – your mum, dad, grandma, grandad or the next door neighbour – please get in touch.”
