History to be brought to life at Wrest Park this bank holiday

Half term gets off to an explosive start this Bank Holiday weekend as the First and Second World Wars are brought to life in an action-packed event at Wrest Park.

Wrest at War will feature pyrotechnic-re-enactments and interactive activities, allowing visitors to experience life as it was, at home and on the front. From dressing a Tommy and exploring the trenches, to music and performances by the 1940s Revue show, there is fun for all ages.

Wrest at War takes place on Sunday and Monday from 11am to 5pm. Tickets can be bought at www.english-heritage.org.uk/events or on 0870 333 1183 from £10 for adults to £6 for children. Family tickets are available at £26.
