Junior school gets shoppers singing
Hillborough Junior School choir performed three Christmas Carols at The Mall in a special presentation after winning the council’s annual Choir competition.
The Junior school were named as the Schools’ winner at the Christmas Lights Switch On.
Luton Choral Society were named as the Community Choir winner, but were unable to attend Thursday’s presentation.
The Mall invited the pupils to the shopping centre to sing Christmas Carols to the shoppers.
A spokesperson for The Mall said: “The children were very excited and pleased to have won the Choir competition. “They sang three Christmas Carols and lots of shoppers stopped to watch them perform, everyone had a great time and loved the singing, it was very festive and people were singing along.”
