Kids’ favourite aliens landing in Dunstable

So prepare for an invasion from outer space as Aliens Love Underpants hits the Grove Theatre, Dunstable from Friday July 17 to Sunday July 19.

Based on the best-selling book, this “pants-tastic” adaptation tells the story of a bunch of mischievous aliens who are mad about undergarments.

An important mission sees these extraterrestrials visiting earth in order to try to steal underpants and use them as head accessories. Washing lines and washing machines are no longer safe.

The book on which this adaptation has been based was first published in 2007 and has since sold over three million copies worldwide. It was written by Claire Freedman with illustrations by Ben Cort.

It soon made its way into Richard & Judy’s Book Club’s recommendations.

In 2013, Aliens Love Underpants added the title of being the most borrowed children’s book from UK libraries to its list of accolades. Its widespread success is proof of its popularity amongst little ones – a true testament to the power of children’s fiction.

The show starts at 4.30pm on Friday July 17, 11am and 2pm on Saturday July 18 and 11am and 2pm on Sunday July 19.
