The focus in 2015 is on songs that have gained golden status through their irresistable guitar hooks, making them instantly recognisable in the pantheon of popular music.

Joining the show this year is British Touring Car Championships racing driver and part-time guitarist James Cole whose off-season passion is exciting music projects.

James, 26, said: “People might think being surrounded by 30 BTCCC cars with their engines revving at the start of a race would give the ultimate buzz of adrenalin.

“But performing with a band of world class musicians in front of a large crowd with the lights shining on you certainly comes very close.”
