Curtain up on Woburn Abbey’s Plays In The Park

PLAYS In The Park are back at Woburn Abbey this summer, kicking off with a family favourite, Snow White, on July 31.

This year the venue is playing host to four productions. Peter Pan follows on August 7, Sense and Sensibility (Aug 20) and Canterbury Tales a day later.

The superb outdoor theatre company, Chapterhouse, are staging Snow White (starring actor Daniel Horn, from Harlington) and the Jane Austen classic amid the Abbey’s stunning grounds.

This is the fourth year the picturesque venue has welcomed theatre and it is the perfect setting to enjoy a family picnic and watch top class theatre.

Snow White: The grounds open for picnics from 2pm with one performance at 3pm; Peter Pan, Aug 7, times as before; Sense & Sensibility, Aug 20, grounds open at 6pm for a 7pm performance; Canterbury Tales, Aug 21, 3pm performance.

Bring your own rugs or low-backed seating.

Refreshments available. No dogs in the gardens or grounds.
