Family trio closes music season
FOR their finale of the season Leighton Buzzard Music welcome again the world famous Vienna Mozart Trio to Leighton Buzzard Theatre on Saturday. Violinist Daniel Auner with his parents, pianist Irina and cellist Diethard, return to Leighton at the end of a tour of the UK and Ireland.
The concert will form a resounding conclusion to a season of eight superb concerts.
The trio will play works by Mozart, Schubert, including the sumptuous Notturno - a single late movement published after the composer’s death - and the dramatic and impassioned Trio No 2 by Shostakovich.
