Fringe hit Stuart opens at Watford Palace
Currently taking the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by storm, BAFTA winner Jack Thorne’s smash hit new play Stuart: A Life Backwards opens at Watford Palace Theatre tonight for a four night run.
Will Adamsdale and Fraser Ayres star in this sharp, funny and poignant tale of the unlikely friendship between a motormouth homeless man and a reclusive, educated writer.
Stuart: A Life Backwards is based upon Alexander Master’s book of the same name and charts the author’s relationship with a vulnerable Cambridge homeless man called Stuart Shorter. It looks in detail at both Shorter’s tragic life and Masters’ own motivations for befriending one particular person among all other cases.
