It’s panto time again (Oh yes it is!)

MY first Curtain Call column coincides with the start of panto season, so I’m dusting off the tinsel and getting ready for some festive frolics.

The fun begins this week with Snow White and The Seven Dwarves at the Luton Library Theatre when The Griffin Players take on the classic fairytale for their 35th local pantomine.

In her first lead role with the Players, Kelsey McDermott stars as Snow White, and it’s also a first for director Denise Lovelock, who was in the original Griffin Players version of Snow White in 2003 but has not directed a pantomime before.

Denise said: “We have had such fun rehearsing the show that I am really excited already about how brilliant it is going to be. Being surrounded by a wonderful group of people - from some panto old-handers, to some novices in our group - has made my job an absolute pleasure.”

Tickets are available to order online from www.griffinplayers.co.uk or the Griffin Players box office on 07906 075455.
