Thumbthing to believe in

The story of Tom Thumb was actually the very first folk story to be printed in English, way back in 1621.

It is most certainly enduring, this thumb thing.

The legend, set in the times of King Arthur with Celtic folklore remains a popular choice today, and if you need proof you can check in with a production at Stantonbury Theatre on Saturday.

Acclaimed company DNA Puppetry and visual theatre are bringing the tiny tale to the stage, in a show perfect for youngsters aged four years and up.
