Youth Theatre in Comedy of Errors

Royal & Derngate’s Youth Theatre reinvigorate one of Shakespeare’s funniest and most farcical comedies, The Comedy of Errors, in a thrilling new contemporary production on Friday July 8 and 9.

A hilarious tale of mistaken identity, the story follows two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth, and the escalating chaos that ensues when they are unwittingly reunited.

Set in a London-esque world of imagination and fancy dress where wizards and lightsaber battles are the norm, the 19-strong Youth Theatre cast brings this Shakespearean favourite of slapstick humour, puns and wordplay into the modern age.
