Adults with learning difficulties arts and craft sessions. Every Wednesday 10.30am to 12.30pm and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm at Arttrend, Arundel Road, Luton. Luton Irish Forum holds a weekly Tuesday and Wednesday Club from 11am to 1.30pm at 102 Hitchin Road.

This is a great chance to meet old friends and make some new ones. Refreshments are all included along with soda bread, scones with jam and monthly chicken and chips. Entry costs £1, plus optional £3 for two games of bingo and a raffle.

A new Designer Makers Fair is opening at The Hat Factory, Bute Street from 11am to 3pm. There will be festive entertainment and a chocolate tasting competition. The Fair will be held every other month and include a variety of merchandise which has been made and designed by skilled people. Mantrata are a unique, eclectic fusion band formed by the bass player Tim Powell, who writes all the compositions. These are inspired by the ethnic music of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Near East and Africa as well as modal jazz pioneers such as John Coltrane.
