Keep fit - for the more mature. Luton Irish Forum’s Keep Fit Class meets at 102 Hitchin Road Luton LU2 0ES Thursdays from 10am to 11am. The class is ideal for anyone who wants to get active and it’s great fun too at £2 a session. Tel: 01582 720447.

To mark the centenary of the First World War, a new play called All Our Heroes will be performed at The Hat Factory, Luton at 7.30pm. ZeroPlus Theatre explore the stories and perspectives of men from the sub-continent who left their homes and families to fight for the British Raj in continents far, far away. The performance aims to give a tangible connection to British Asian history and heritage which is then discussed through a post show workshop. Back as large as life, Jethro will be delivering an evening of eye-watering comedy at the Grove Theatre, Dunstable at 7.30pm. Luton Irish Forum’s Baby and Toddler group meets at 102 Hitchin Road, Luton LU2 0ES every Friday from 9.30am to 11am during term time. Recommended a donation of £1 per adult and 50p per child.

As a country arms itself for war, a family tears itself apart.
