Adults with learning difficulties arts and craft sessions. Every Wednesday 10.30am to 12.30pm and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm at Arttrend, Arundel Road, Luton. Social and creative activity for adults with learning difficulties, engaging in all types of art and craft work such as painting in acrylics, papier mache, salt dough, cross stitch, rug making etc. Please see the website www.arttrend.co.uk and go to Art ALD, then see the gallery of work already done.

Luton Irish Forum holds a weekly Tuesday and Wednesday Club from 11am - 1.30pm at 102 Hitchin Road, Luton LU2 0ES.

This is a great chance to meet old friends and make some new ones. Refreshments are all included along with soda bread, scones with jam and monthly chicken and chips. Entry costs £1, plus optional £3 for two games of bingo and a raffle.

Barnstomers Comedy returns to the Grove Theatre, Dunstable from 8pm. Freewheeling compere Kevin Precious will be on hand to oversee the proceedings, wioth the line-up comprising the “acerbically amiable” John Ryan, the “effortlessly affable” Quincy and the “endearingly irritable” Pierre Hollins.

The ballet will star international principal dancers Amy Drew, Adele Robbins, Monica Tapiador, Richard Read, Brenden Bratulic, Oliver Speers and Steven Wheeler. All the soloist and corps de ballet roles in the production will be performed by 100 of the finest dancers (aged eight to 18) from Herts & Bucks.

Luton Irish Forum’s Baby and Toddler group meets at 102 Hitchin Road Luton LU2 0ES every Friday from 9.30am to 11am during term time. Recommended a donation of £1 per adult and 50p per child.

The Future Libraries Festival at Flitwick Library continues, with the library playing host to a language café from 9.30am to 11am with native speakers keen to share their language, and from 11.30am to 1pm local crime fiction author Adam Croft and And Publishing will be running a workshop on how to self-publish. In the afternoon, local groups will go head to head in the community challenge competition. The fun begins at 3pm. From 7pm the library will screen the Flitwick Skater Group’s Flitwick Skate Competition film as well as the cult skating film Dogtown and Z-Boys. Music on Mondays concert: the Frith Piano Quartet with Christine Bunning, 7.30pm at Luton Library Theatre. This is the third of a series which celebrates the music of Beethoven and the Celtic nations.
