And to celebrate the arrival of the family show, a shoemaker’s workshop has been set up at Luton Central Library where children can take part in free art and craft activities every weekend throughout November.

In addition, the Shoemaker and his wife will be travelling around Luton welcoming all with their cart of shoelaces. Children will be able to get a free pair of new shoelaces fitted by expert hands while they listen to tales of the Shoemaker. They will also receive a free golden shoe trail map which they can complete with their family, taking them on an expedition of discovery around Luton town centre and Stockwood Discovery Centre.

The Elves and the Shoemaker Christmas show will be at Luton Library Theatre from December 12 to 24. Tickets cost £11 for adults, £10 concessions and £40 for a family ticket.
