A HOUSING association has been awarded silver status after a rigorous Investors in People (IiP) assessment.

Aldwyck Housing Group, which has its head office on Houghton Hall Business Park, in Porz Avenue, Houghton Regis, was given a root-and-branch assessment.

The assessment process involved interviews of more than 50 employees. Evidence was also taken from documents including business and training plans, HR, training and policies, staff survey results, staff communication documents and evaluation documents.

IiP assessor Lesley Ling said gaining a silver level whilst in ‘cultural transition’ was ‘significant and should not be under estimated.’

Aldwyck was praised for its “highly advanced understanding of and commitment to social responsibility.” To get to silver standard organisations must meet 140 of 170 set requirements.

Aldwyck Housing Group owns, manages and administers more than 11,000 properties across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and North London.
