Bedfordshire BusinessWomen 2013 awards
The Sharnbrook Hotel was the venue for the prestigious 2013 Bedfordshire BusinessWomen Awards on Thursday, June 20 - which also celebrated the networking organisation’s 25th anniversary.
It was introduced by BBW president Amanda Murrell with support from headline sponsors Heart 96.9, Bedford i-kan, media sponsor Premier Newspapers Ltd and programme sponsor the Harpur Trust.

Hide AdFollowing a sumptuous three course meal compere Matt Jarvis of Heart 96.9 led the way with the awards for the evening.
The results were:
Young achiever award, sponsored by Bedford College: Winner Hannah Paine (Epanoui), runner-up Sophie Stock (The Embankment).
Start-up award, sponsored by Bedford i-kan: winner Lindsay Deardon (Love Shapewear), runner-up Emma Garrett (Kiosk At The Park).
Woman Employee, sponsored by Premier Newspapers: winner Estelle Smith (St John’s Hospice), runner-up Amanda Allnutt (Gregory Account Services).

The evening continued with dancing to the VIPeas, a raffle in aid of the Road Victims Trust and a secret auction.
